Wonderful news! I successfully defended my dissertation. My doctoral research was a three-stage mixed methods research study that explored how digital technologies support social connectedness and illness for people living with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Extending my thanks to all the participants who shared their experiences, and to my doctoral committee (Drs. Laurene Sheilds, Francis Lau and Anne Bruce) in giving me an amazing PhD experience.
